Bernardini Art Gallery joins the virtual art auction to support the programs and activities of RCD Foundation, donating a percentage of the sales made.

You will be able to find: paintings, sculptures and graphic works by recognized national and international artists. Renowned artists such as: Rufino Tamayo, David Alfaro Siquieros, Francisco Toledo, Pablo Picasso, Leonora Carrington, among others.

When will the event be held?

The auction will be held virtual on the days:

  • Saturday, November 5 from 11:00 am to 10:00 pm.
  • Sunday November 6 from 10:00 am to 10:00 pm
  • Monday, November 7th 10:00 am to 10:00 pm

There is no cost, it is totally FREE

How to participate

  1. Read the rules and instructions.
  2. Review each one of the lots in the catalog.
  3. Choose the lots you are most passionate about and keep an eye on them.
  4. In the course of the day offer your first bids, it should be strictly in this way:
    1. #LOT /OFFER /#PALETA
      1. Example: L. 100 /$3000 /P 900
  5. First bids are with the starting price of the lot or more.
  6. When you reconnect, check the last update to see if your bid is still valid or if someone outbid you (lot listing).
  7. Updates for the last 2 hours of the auction will be every 30 minutes, so it’s time to stay tuned!
  8. Last update approximately 10:30 pm. End of auction.
  9. Your account status will be sent to your WhatsApp the next day or 2 days after the auction. Once the payment is done, your shipment will be scheduled.

Legal Aspects

Regulations:

  • Anyone wishing to participate must have a paddle, if you do not have one, please request it at the number: 8123991077, from 11:00 am to 10:00 pm, only during auction.
  • The auction will begin on Saturday, November 5th at 11:00 am and will end on Monday, November 7th at 10:00 pm.
  • The auction will be conducted virtually through the Whatsapp application. Bids should be placed through our groups assigned for this auction or by leaving your absentee bid to the phone numbers: 8123991077 or 4428642372.
  • The format of the bid will be: #LOT /QUANTITY OF YOUR BID /# OF PALETTE. Example: LOT 1/$7,000MXN/P22
  • The first bid on each lot must be placed by 8:00 pm on the last day of auction, if no bids were placed by that time these lots will be WITHDRAWN.
  • If the piece already has bids on it, it may be bid on until 10:00:59 pm, the end time of the auction.
  • The bidding status of each lot will be announced every hour and a half, and from 8:00 pm on the last day these updates will be published every half hour. The final list of results with lot creditors will be posted at 10:30 pm in the groups assigned to this auction.

    During the auction, we ask you to check that your bids are in accordance with the latest version of the catalog, which will be shared once the auction begins.

RCD Foundation disclaims any responsibility during and after the auction, since the allocation of pallets, organization within the whatsapp groups and phone calls, as well as the collection and shipment of the pieces are entirely the responsibility of Bernardini Gallery.

Payments

  • Winning customers have up to 6 days after receiving their statement to confirm their purchase and make a down payment. After that they have 15 days to settle the total amount of their account, in case they do not comply with this they will not be able to participate in our next auctions.
  • If you have any debts from a previous auction, you will not be able to participate in this auction.
  • On the final price at which the work is awarded, a “Hammer” commission will be charged (charged by all auction houses worldwide, between 25% and 30%) which on this occasion will be ##%.
  • The cost of the work generates VAT (16%) on any method of payment.
  • We accept cash, checks, interbank transfers and credit and debit cards VISA, MasterCard and AMEX, the latter can be charged via telephone.
  • If an invoice is required, it must be requested within the same calendar month during which the payment is made, without exception.

Deliveries

  • Delivery time from 20 to 35 business days once payment is reflected.
  • Purchased works that are not picked up or scheduled for shipment within one month, will have extra cost for storage.
  • Shipping cost is the responsibility of the buyer and includes professional packaging.
  • The gallery is not responsible for damages that may occur due to the handling of the courier personnel on the way to its destination, so we offer our Bernardini Guarantee, with a cost of 5% of the price at which the lot has been awarded.
  • There are NO REFUNDS, only exchanges at the discretion of Bernardini Art Gallery & Auction House, for items of the same value and by the same artist.

Cancellations

In case of cancellation of any of the works bid will be charged a fee of 20% of the total amount of your purchase. We remind all our benefactors and collectors that our auctions have a charitable cause and it is part of our policy not to accept cancellations of bids. In case of refusal to pay the penalty, your participation in our next auctions will not be accepted.
